Our Vision


Taiwan Parking Association (TPA) is a non-profit social organization founded in April 1991. TPA has a mix of influencers from the government, industry and academics. Many of TPA key functions consist of acting as a neutral party in facilitating communication between government, commercial and civil organization and uniting business owners to collectively advance the overall industry strength, raise the quality of parking system manufacturing process and to improve automobile parking facility management. In addition, TPA will assist government in shaping public safety policy on equipment maintenance and inspection. Over the years, TPA assists government in stipulating and modifying related laws and regulations as below：

  • Parking Equipment Act
  • Additional of Technique Regulation
  • Regulation for Built - in Mechanical Parking Facilities
  • Regulations of Applying for Temporary off - Street Parking Lots on the Open Spaces
  • Standard Contracts for Tenure of off - Street Parking Lots
  • Regulations for Building’s Lift Equipment Establishment and Management
  • Examination and Completed Project Certificate for Building’s Lift Equipment
  • Safety Inspection Standard and Project Certificate for Building’s Lift Equipment
  • Regulations for Mechanical Parking Equipment Establishment and Management
  • Examination and Completed Project Certificate for Mechanical Parking Equipment
  • Safety Inspection Standard and Project Certificate for Mechanical Parking Equipment

Furthermore, the Association will further develop other plans including (1) CNS Amendatory Acts and Authentication of CE Marking. (2) A branch company in the south of Taiwan (3) Development of Authentication System for Mechanical Parking Equipment to improve quality and credibility. (4) Providing dedicated professional training mechanism for parking industries (5) Enhancing the awareness and influence of Taiwan parking industries in the global marketplace.
